Your friend is causing absolute chaos in a local supermarket, dropping groceries all over the floor. The mission? Drive your twitchy little remote-controlled car through the aisles, snatch up the rogue items, and zoom them back to your drop-off spot before a relentless security guard plucks your tiny vehicle right off the ground.

I built this chaotic arcade game for the University of Waterloo Game Jam under the theme "Getaway." Instead of a high-speed highway chase, I wanted to scale down the panic into a tiny, fast-paced retail escape. Controls are incredibly straightforward: just use WASD or the Arrow Keys to steer and accelerate. Grab the items, follow your trusty compass arrow, and don't get cornered by the law!

Full disclosure: This game is incredibly buggy. The cosmic clock was ticking, and I managed to pull this entire prototype together in just 1.5 days right before the submission deadline! If your car spins out, clipping happens, or the guard acts completely erratic—congratulations, you are experiencing authentic, high-speed jam crunch development. Take it for a spin, smash that R key to restart when things inevitably break, and see how high of a score you can pull off!
